Richard Brown is an Award Winning Author who was born in New Haven, Connecticut but was raised in Durham, North Carolina after his family moved there when he was young boy. Brown still currently resides in North Carolina, and has dedicated his self to being an author, and producing novels in the urban fiction genre. Brown's debut novel 187 Iz An Art has won a 2009 LOS ANGELES BOOK FESTIVAL AWARD, 2010 SAN FRANCISCO BOOK FESTIVAL AWARD, & 2010 NEW YORK BOOK FESTIVAL HONORABLE MENTION.
